Story:  Candace “Candy” Meyers (Essence Atkins) is a successful anchor on a top-rated national magazine show. Candy discovers that an anonymous fan she’s had for years has passed way – and he was her biological father, Freddy Nelson.

Content with the love and support of her adoptive family, Candy has never been curious about her biological parents. That all changes when she travels back for her father’s funeral, meets the Nelson family – including biological uncle Abner (GregAlan Williams), Freddy’s wife Delores (Angie Stone) and her two step-brothers – and discovers that her reclusive, angry and stubborn birth mother, Mary Jo (Lynn Whitfield) is going to be a challenge. Synopsis:   Richard Beverly and Hubert Gordon are rivals for the affections of a beautiful woman.   A plan, contrived by Hubert to embarrass Richard in public, ends with the two spending a drunken night at a bordello. Learning of the trick the next day, Richard fights Hubert, who hits his head on a rock after Richard knocks him down. Richard, thinking that he is a murderer, leaves town and becomes a dissipated drunk in a distant city, where he meets Merriam Givens. Hoping to clear himself of disgrace so that he can marry Merriam, Richard writes home and learns that, although Hubert survived the accident, a prostitute is pregnant as a result of that night and believes Richard is the father. Will Richard do the right thing and marry the mother of his child, or will he follow his heart to be with his true love?

Details:  Falcon Rising is the first installment of the Codename Falcon action franchise which will revolve around former marine John “Falcon” Chapman, a dark anti-hero driven by guilt, who will destroy himself unless given something else to destroy – a useful weapon-of-last-resort for the foreign ministry. The first movie sees Chapman traveling to Brazil to hunt down his sister’s brutal attackers, in the process discovering an underground world of drugs, prostitution, and police corruption ruled by the Japanese mafia.
